Pacifica Partner Nick Brown Advances in Washington State Attorney General Race

Pacifica Partner Nick Brown is advancing to the November general election in the race to become Washington State’s next Attorney General. Nick earned 36 percent of the nearly 1.5 million votes cast by Washingtonians in the Primary, which places him second in the three-person race in which the top two candidates move on.

As of this writing, Nick leads fellow Democrat, Manka Dhingra, who earned 22 percent of the vote and conceded the race on Wednesday evening. Nick will face Republican Pete Serrano in the general election.

Nick is a partner in Pacifica’s litigation practice group. Prior to accepting President Biden’s appointment as United States Attorney for the Western District of Washington, Nick was a partner at Pacifica from 2017-2021 and rejoined us in June 2023. Nick previously served as General Counsel to the Governor of Washington, as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, and as a lawyer in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps.

All of us at Pacifica congratulate Nick on advancing to the November 5 general election.
