The National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL) this week elected Deanna Gregory to its Executive Committee, and presented Alison Benge with its President’s Service Award for her work on NABL’s Tax Committee. NABL, a non-profit trade association of municipal finance lawyers, announced these recognitions at The Workshop 2023 conference in Chicago.

Both partners in Pacifica’s Public Finance practice group, Deanna and Alison are longtime NABL members and leaders, and are frequent speakers and panelists at NABL events and conferences. Deanna is currently a member of the Board of Directors, while Alison serves as Vice-Chair of the Tax Law Committee. Alison also received the President’s Service Award in 2019 for her service on NABL’s Education Committee.

Deanna and Alison are among a group of Pacifica bond lawyers who are current and past NABL leaders. Jon Jurich recently concluded a term as Chair of the General Law and Practice Committee, and for the past three years has chaired the “Multifamily Housing” panel for The Workshop. He will be serving as Second Vice-Chair of The Workshop in 2024. Stacey Crawshaw-Lewis and Faith Pettis have previously served terms on the NABL Board of Directors, and Stacey currently chairs the Member Services Committee.

Pacifica is proud to see this recognition of our colleagues’ leadership and appreciates the NABL’s continued commitment to its members and the advancement of public finance law.
