Christopher Sanders Named to “40 Under 40” List by Puget Sound Business Journal

Puget Sound Business Journal (PSBJ) has named Pacifica attorney Christopher M. Sanders to its “40 Under 40” list for 2025, the publication has announced. The annual list recognizes business leaders throughout Washington, who are selected by past “40 Under 40” honorees and PSBJ editors based on their professional accomplishments, leadership roles, and service to the community.

A member of Pacifica’s Litigation Practice Group, Christopher has recently represented Pacifica clients in matters related to reproductive rights, gun safety, and equal access to justice. He joined the firm in 2022 after serving as an Assistant Federal Public Defender for the Western District of Washington.

Christopher is an active leader within the legal profession and wider community. He is currently an appointed Commissioner of the Washington State Supreme Court’s Minority and Justice Commission, and has in the past served as Chair of the Washington State Bar Association Disciplinary Board, and as President of the Loren Miller Bar Association. He is also a co-founder of the Washington Coalition of Minority Legal Professionals, which issues non-partisan ratings for candidates for elected prosecutor and law enforcement positions. Christopher is a graduate of the Washington Leadership Institute and Leadership Tomorrow’s Flagship Program. He is a graduate of Oberlin College and Seattle University School of Law.
